Top 10 pictures for 2011

I found out recently about Jim M. Goldstein’s top 10 pictures of the year Project, and decided to enter some of my favorites. This was not an easy task, since 2011 was the year I decided to take the leap into professional photography and I have captured thousands of moments in the process. These 10 pictures are from Northern WI and the UP of MI (all within a 50 mile radius from home), and they all represent landmarks in my journey to achieve the dream of photography in the service of conservation. I hope you enjoy them.

    Azael,
I truly love your pictures. Your compositions are excellent. I also like what I believe is the use of polarization in some of the photos. It really makes the colors pop. These images show the work of a true professional.
